Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Welcome guests warmly, guide them to seats, and confirm any dietary needs or special requests.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to kitchen and bar clearly using the POS system.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues to a supervisor when needed.
Food & Beverage Operations:
- Serve food and beverages promptly while following portion and presentation standards.
- Assist with simple beverage preparation and plating as required by the shift.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and balance takings at shift end.
Cleanliness & Team Support:
- Clear and reset tables quickly to keep turnover steady and the dining area tidy.
- Restock service stations and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices and support teammates during busy periods.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- 0 years experience required; we welcome fresh graduates and first-time hires.
- Previous F&B or retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic numeracy for payments and simple stock checks.
Hard Skills & Knowledge:
- Familiarity with point of sale systems or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices or willingness to train.
- Ability to carry trays and serve multiple tables safely.
