Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to prepare quality beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain bar cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have prior barista experience and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include beverage preparation, stock management, and adhering to brand recipes.
Responsibilities

- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory
Required Skills
- Minimum SPM / high school qualification or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience as a barista
- Solid knowledge of espresso-based and manual brewing methods
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
Job Details
Beverage Preparation Prepare beverages according to standard recipes Operate coffee machines, grinders and related equipment correctly Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and quality Customer Service Greet customers politely and take orders accurately Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally Cleanliness & Hygiene Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, machines, tools and workstations Perform daily opening and closing cleaning duties Comply with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards Stock & Inventory Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups and bar supplies Assist with stock rotation and replenishment Report low stock or equipment issues to supervisors Quality Control Follow recipe standards without deviation unless approved by Supervisor/Manager Immediately report any product quality issues (taste, texture, temperature, presentation) Ensure drinks served meet brand standards before handover to customer Communication & Reporting Communicate clearly with team members during service to ensure smooth operations Report incidents, mistakes, or operational issues immediately to Supervisor or Manager Escalate unresolved customer issues promptly Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum SPM / high school qualification or equivalent At least 1–2 years of experience as a barista or in a similar food & beverage role Solid knowledge of espresso-based and manual brewing methods Barista certification and/or latte art skills are an advantage Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices; a food handling certificate is a plus Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
