Job Summary
C. H. Chuah Associates is offering an internship for Civil Engineering students to develop professional skills in a consulting environment. Interns will be guided by senior engineers and gain practical exposure to civil and structural engineering consultancy. This includes assisting in structural design, site inspections, and the preparation of technical drawings and reports.

Job Details
Internship Position: Civil / Structural Engineering Intern
Internship Training Scope and Areas of Exposure:
Interns will be guided by senior professional engineer and gain practical exposure to civil and structural engineering consultancy through the following activities:
- Assisting in the design and analysis of structural systems and components.
- Assisting in site inspections and surveys to collect information for engineering assessments.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Supporting the development of engineering calculations and structural modelling under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Participating in project meetings, technical discussions and problem-solving activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of engineering reports, proposals and project documentation.
- Learning and applying construction codes, standards and best practices relevant to civil and structural engineering.
- Supporting the coordination between different project teams and stakeholders.
- Assisting in research on engineering materials, construction methods and emerging technologies.
Internship Details:
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday
- Internship Allowance: RM500 per month
Requirements:
- Relevant Field of Study: Students pursuing Degree in Civil Engineering
