Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to develop and maintain systems using Laravel 12, React, and TypeScript. The role involves handling both backend APIs and frontend portals, optimizing system performance, and integrating third-party services. Candidates should have 1–2 years of full-stack web application development experience.

Required Skills

  • 1–2 years of full-stack experience
  • Experience with APIs and relational databases

  • Multilingual communication in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia

Job Details

Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain systems using Laravel 12, React and TypeScript, including backend APIs, frontend admin portals, customer portals and public websites. - Maintain data models, migrations, service layers, middleware, MySQL schemas, indexes and access permissions. - Optimise system performance and maintainability, including large-list pagination, search-state persistence, database indexing, API queries and precision utilities. - Integrate third-party services and external APIs, including payment gateways, notifications, file uploads and accounting systems. - Investigate technical issues, debug applications and resolve bugs. - Handle system deployment, environment configuration and version releases. Job Requirements - 1–2 years of experience in full-stack web application development, covering both frontend and backend. - Experience working with APIs and relational databases. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code. - Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. - Able to communicate in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Experience in mobile application development is an added advantage.
