Job Summary

ABS Engineering & Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Intern to support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with ERP migration. The intern will gain practical exposure to finance operations while contributing to operational efficiency and financial controls. Key responsibilities include transaction entry, accounts payable support, and stock reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • Basic accounting knowledge and financial data entry
  • Spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

What You Will Do - ERP Migration Support - Transaction Entry and Financial Record Maintenance - Accounts Payable and Employee Claims Support - Stock Count and Reconciliation Support - Finance Administration and Operational Support Expected End Results - Assigned migration data is complete, traceable and ready for review within the agreed timeline. - Assigned transactions are entered accurately, supported by documents and submitted on time. - Payable and claim submissions are checked and prepared correctly for authorised review. - Stock count results are documented accurately, with discrepancies clearly identified for reconciliation. - Financial documents and administrative outputs are organised, accessible and completed as assigned. Requirements Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Functional or Technical Competency: Basic Accounting Knowledge, Financial Data Entry, Spreadsheet Skills. Language: Ability to understand instructions and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Systems and Tools: Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
