Business Analyst
Job Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge business needs with technical delivery for technology and digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and managing requirements throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle. The role has a strong focus on Financial Services Industry projects, including banking, fintech, and insurance.

Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with clients, business users, internal teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and clarification discussions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating requirements, risks, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements, user journeys, and system interactions.
- Translate business needs into structured documentation (BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows).
- Assess current and future state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Financial Services Industry Support
- Support projects including banking, fintech, insurance, payments, lending, compliance, and risk management.
- Understand FSI business flows, operational requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Provide analysis to support secure and scalable technology solutions.
Solution & Deliverables Management
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure requirements are translated into technical deliverables.
- Review functional specifications, test scenarios, and system outputs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Manage requirement changes through impact analysis and prioritization.
Documentation & Governance
- Prepare and maintain business analysis documentation with proper version control.
- Ensure all decisions and changes are documented for traceability and governance.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of working experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong experience in the Financial Services Industry (banking, fintech, insurance, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Expertise in end-to-end business analysis, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and testing support.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle and project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Ability to prepare detailed documentation (BRD, FSD, user stories, process flows, traceability matrices).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Foundational knowledge of APIs, system integration, and workflow automation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
