Create Value Sdn Bhd is looking for a Property Legal Clerk Intern to support conveyancing workflows, maintain accurate records, and help the legal team meet deadlines. You will gain practical legal experience by handling document management, assisting with sale and purchase documents, and conducting basic legal research. Responsibilities
Conveyancing Support
- Assist with preparation and checking of sale and purchase documents, title transfers, and related forms.
- Perform searches at land registry and collate certified copies and statutory documents for transactions.
- Prepare basic correspondence to clients, banks, and government offices under lawyer guidance.
- Track timelines and follow up on outstanding items to help transactions progress on schedule.
Document & Records
- Organise physical and electronic files, maintain version control, and ensure documents are stored securely.
- Perform accurate data entry for client and property records using Microsoft Office tools.
- Manage stamping, lodgement, and filing tasks, including preparing packages for submission.
- Run regular checks to keep registers and spreadsheets up to date for easy retrieval.
Team Coordination & Research
- Support day-to-day team tasks and attend briefings to capture action points and follow up.
- Conduct basic legal research on property laws and precedents to assist case preparation.
- Liaise courteously with clients, banks, and third parties to collect documents and clarify information.
- Help prepare simple schedules and checklists so the team meets regulatory and filing requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor in Law, Legal Studies, or related field is preferred.
- Open to candidates with 0 years of work experience; this is an entry internship role.
- Available for an internship period as agreed and able to work in a team office environment.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Property Laws and conveyancing processes relevant to Malaysia.
- Comfortable with Document Management, Microsoft Office, and accurate Data Entry.
- Familiarity with legal research methods and ability to summarise findings clearly.
- Awareness of filing and lodgement procedures for land registry and related authorities.
