Job Summary

To provide efficient assistance in managing the company’s day-to-day treasury operations while offering accounting support for reconciliations, month-end closings, and related reporting. The role involves monitoring cash positions, preparing cash-flow forecasts, and managing foreign exchange exposures. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Accounting/Finance along with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing weekly and monthly cash position reports and liaising with bankers.
  • Preparing cash-flow forecasts, analyzing variances, and monitoring foreign exchange rates.
  • Handling cash and bank review, verification, reconciliations, and month-end closing support.

Required Skills

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in full/partial set accounting or treasury functions
  • Communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin

Job Summary: To provide efficient assistance in managing the company’s day-to-day treasury operations, while also providing accounting support for reconciliations, month-end closing and related reporting. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities includes: - Reviewing weekly and monthly cash position report. - Liaising with the bankers on funds receipt and transfer - Prepare rolling short-term and medium-term cash-flow forecasts, analyze variances and highlight potential funding gaps or surplus funds. - Monitor foreign exchange rates and exposures, maintain FX schedules, and support with hedging and forward-contract administration. - Maintain complete treasury documentation and ensure transactions comply with approved authority limits, company policies and internal controls. - Support treasury-related month-end and year-end closing, audit requests and continuous improvement of treasury systems and processes. - Cash and bank review, verification and reconciliation functions. - Investigation of ad-hoc and abnormal transactions. - Perform any such comparable duties as may be required by the Regional Financial Controller and the Finance Manager. Requirements: - Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. Diploma or Certificate in relevant field also can be considered. - Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in full set accounting, partial set accounting or treasury functions. - Knowledge in accounting system such as Sage 300 is added advantage. Other accounting systems are acceptable as long as willing to learn a new system. - Communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. - Interest in adopting AI and automation into finance operations. - Willing to work in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur.
