Job Summary
PTT Outdoor is seeking a Content Creation Intern specializing in video editing to produce engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram. The ideal candidate can edit quickly using CapCut or Premiere, is bilingual in BM and English, and can commit to 2 in-person days per week in Mutiara Damansara for 6 months. Responsibilities include cutting clips, joining indoor and outdoor shoots, and managing footage.
Responsibilities
- Cut 2-3 short-form clips from long YouTube videos
- Edit and caption content in BM and English
- Operate camera and handle setup during indoor/outdoor shoots
- Organize footage and schedule content across platforms
Required Skills
- Portfolio link showing edited videos
- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci
- Bilingual in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Own laptop and ability to commit 2 days/week in Mutiara Damansara
Job Details
What you'll actually do:
- Cut 2–3 short-form clips (TikTok/Shorts/Reels) from every long YouTube video we film
- Edit and caption content in BM and English
- Join indoor shoots 2 days a week at our Mutiara Damansara office — operate the camera, handle setup, grab b-roll
- Occasionally join outdoor campsite shoots (yes, you'll get out of the office and into nature)
- Organize footage after shoot days so nothing gets lost
- Post and schedule content across platforms
What you must have (non-negotiable):
- A portfolio link. TikTok account, YouTube channel, Google Drive folder — anything that shows video you've edited. Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed. This is the first filter.
- Confident short-form editing in CapCut (or Premiere/DaVinci)
- Bilingual — you can write natural captions in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Own laptop
- Able to commit 2 fixed in-person days/week in Mutiara Damansara for 6 months
Big plus if you:
- Already use AI tools in your workflow (auto-captions, AI voiceover, image generation, etc.) — or you're genuinely curious to learn.
- Like the outdoors, or at least don't mind a campsite
