Job Summary
Be the friendly face that starts every great meal, working as a Restaurant Receptionist to keep the front of house running smoothly by coordinating seating, communications, and daily handovers. Sharpen guest service skills through daily face-to-face interactions while managing reservations, POS transactions, and shift handovers. Build operational experience in a hands-on F&B team to deliver warm neighbourhood hospitality.

Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations
- Greet guests, confirm reservations, and manage the waitlist to keep seating fair and efficient.
- Answer phone and online enquiries, take bookings, and relay special requests clearly to staff.
Guest Relations & Communication
- Handle guest enquiries and minor complaints calmly, escalating to the manager when needed.
- Share timely front-of-house updates with kitchen and service teams to prevent delays.
Admin & Coordination
- Process payments, issue receipts, and operate the POS with accuracy.
- Maintain simple records, prepare shift handover notes, and assist with light administrative tasks.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an F&B front desk, host, or receptionist role.
- Secondary education or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Experience with customer service desk duties, reservation handling, and guest tracking systems.
- Clear verbal communication skills in English; additional local languages are a plus.
- Attention to detail for bookings, billing, and shift handovers, plus basic POS and cash handling knowledge.
