Video Editor & Content Creator
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative Video Editor and Content Creator who is fluent in Mandarin to plan, shoot, and edit engaging social media videos. The role involves managing social media platforms, creating marketing content, and supporting company events and campaigns. We offer a 5-day work week, parking allowance, and a convenient location near the MRT.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit marketing and social media videos
- Manage and maintain company social media platforms
- Brainstorm creative content and capture promotional photos
- Support company events, campaigns, and administrative tasks
Required Skills
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in related field
- Fluent in Mandarin (mandatory)
- Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Basic photo and video shooting skills
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or Illustrator
Job Details
Video Production
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos for marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Create engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and XiaoHongShu (XHS).
- Enhance videos with music, captions, motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the company's branding and marketing objectives.
Content Creation
- Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos for promotional purposes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce engaging and impactful content.
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms (Website, Facebook, Instagram, XHS, Tiktok, E-Commerce and etc.).
- Schedule and publish posts, photos, reels, and videos.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments or messages when required.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and recommend new content ideas.
Event & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing company events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Capture event highlights through photography and videography.
- Support live content creation during company events when required.
Administrative Support
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials.
- Assist with general administrative and marketing-related tasks.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia or a related field
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written) — mandatory, as the role involves creating and editing Chinese short-form video content
- Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Basic skills in photo and video shooting
- Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or Illustrator is an advantage
- Creative, eager to learn, and a team player (training provided)
