Preschool Teacher Intern

Responsibilities Classroom Planning & Teaching Design and deliver age-appropriate lessons using play-based activities and simple assessments. Create learning materials and learning corners that support literacy, numeracy and motor skills. Child Care & Wellbeing Supervise children during meals, nap times and activities while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Monitor development and record observations to track progress and raise concerns early. Parent & Team Communication Share progress updates with parents, run brief handovers and advise on at-home activities. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson schedules, events and classroom care routines. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in preschool or childcare settings. Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Teacher Education or related field preferred. Hard Skills & Knowledge Teacher Education. Preschool Education. Lesson planning, basic child development knowledge and classroom management. Soft Skills & Qualities Patient, observant and caring with young children. Clear communicator with parents and colleagues and comfortable working in a small team.
