Sales Marketing Intern
Job Summary
Mahes Travel & Tours is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern to assist in promoting outbound tour packages and handling customer inquiries. The intern will support tour quotations, social media content, and client outreach in a hands-on learning environment. Candidates must be available for a minimum 10-week on-site internship in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell outbound tour packages
- Follow up on customer inquiries via social media and WhatsApp
- Prepare tour quotations, proposals, and itineraries
- Support social media posting and content scheduling
- Maintain customer lead trackers and booking records
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or Marketing
- Comfortable with WhatsApp and social media communication
- Basic Microsoft Office and Canva skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Available for on-site work in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
Job Details

Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field
- Internship placement required by university (minimum 10 weeks)
- Comfortable communicating via WhatsApp and social media
- Basic Microsoft Office and Canva skills an advantage
- Proactive, eager to learn, able to work independently
- Must be able to work on-site in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
- Available for a minimum 10-week internship placement (intake: October, November, December)
