Responsibilities:
Core Accounting & Month-End Closing:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to keep financial records accurate and up to date.
- Execute regular bank reconciliations and lead month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journals, to deliver timely and accurate monthly reports.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive financial statements and tax returns to remain compliant with standard local regulations.
Financial Compliance & Payroll Administration:
- Process monthly payroll systematically to ensure team members are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all client data, ensuring full alignment with company compliances and financial best practices.
- Adopt and leverage modern financial software applications proactively, allowing for streamlined internal reporting systems and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related financial field.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of modern cloud-based accounting software and general transactional workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive learner mindset.
- Strong collaborative spirit and team-oriented approach.
