Finance Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking Senior and Junior Finance Executives to manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets. The role involves preparing financial reports, statements, and analyses to support business decision-making. You will handle cash management, media buy reconciliations, month-end closings, and payroll processing.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets)
- Prepare P/L reports and financial statements
- Oversee cash management and reconciliations
- Handle media buy reporting and WHT filing
- Coordinate month-end/year-end closing and payroll
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Job Details
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparation of accurate and timely profit or loss (P/L) reports.
- Generate comprehensive financial statements and analysis for management review.
Cash Management
- Oversee petty cash and credit cards disbursements and reconciliations.
- Maintain proper documentation and internal controls over cash transactions.
Media Buy Reporting
- Ensure all payments made reconciles with ad campaign spend.
- Maintain proper documentation of media buy receipts for WHT filing.
Month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in coordinating month-end and year-end closing process.
- Perform reconciliation of accounts and ensure all financial activities are appropriately recorded.
Multi-entity payroll processing
- Assist in coordinating monthly payroll processing and timely statutory submissions and payments
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a bachelor's in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification with a minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Able to work independently with tight schedule and minimum supervision.
- Mature with good interpersonal skills and analytical minded.
- An eagle-eye with attention to detail.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
- Experience in advertising/marketing agency background will be an added advantage.
- Fully on-site job with flexibility of remote work upon completion of 12 months of employment.
