IT Automation Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
This role focuses on automating manual workflows and optimizing technical infrastructure across the company's Web Shop and ERP systems. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring data integrity through real-time reporting and developing custom internal tools to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the position involves managing hardware/software assets and providing essential end-user technical support.
Responsibilities

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Workflow Automation: Identify data silos across the company (e.g., Sales-to-Ops communication, Inventory-to-Finance syncs) and replace them with seamless, automated code using tools like n8n, AI tools, and REST APIs.
Platform Optimisation: Own the technical implementation of UX improvements across our Web Shop and ERP. Focus on maximizing site speed, smoothing out the checkout flow, and managing necessary plugins to ensure a frictionless customer experience.
Data Integrity: Ensure the leadership team has access to real-time data. Accountable for ensuring company Scorecard numbers are generated automatically and accurately.
Internal Tool Building: Act as an internal product builder, creating custom tools that remove bottlenecks, such as dynamic Price Calculators for the sales team and internal AI Chatbots.
Infrastructure & Security: Manage hardware (laptops, printers, etc.) and software, working with external vendors to ensure network and server uptime.
Daily IT Operations & Support: Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, setting up workstations, managing employee onboarding/offboarding for tech accounts, and administering collaboration workspaces.
Requirements:
Experience: 3+ years in a hybrid IT role blending technical support with system automation and integration. Fresh graduates with proven freelance or entrepreneurial experience are welcome.
Automation & APIs: Proven experience building workflows in platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier, with a strong understanding of business processes, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
Builder Mindset: Basic scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and an interest in leveraging AI tools to build lightweight internal apps or chatbots.
Autonomous & Proactive: Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating independently to identify manual processes and build solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
