ERP Accounting QA Intern

Key Responsibilities: Functional Testing & Validation • Assist in testing finance modules within ERP systems, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reporting • Execute test cases based on functional requirements and document results • Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and data mismatches, and report them with clear documentation Data Accuracy & Compliance • Validate financial transactions and workflows to ensure alignment with accounting standards and internal policies • Support reconciliation testing between ERP outputs and financial records • Help ensure audit readiness by maintaining traceable and well-documented test logs Process Documentation & Improvement • Contribute to the creation and refinement of QA documentation, including test plans, checklists, and SOPs • Suggest improvements to testing workflows and automation opportunities • Collaborate with finance and development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues Cross-Functional Collaboration • Participate in QA stand-ups, sprint reviews, and UAT sessions • Coordinate with ERP developers and finance stakeholders to align testing efforts with business goals • Support training and onboarding materials for finance users based on QA insights Requirements & Skills • Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Computer Science • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with ERP systems and basic finance workflows • Attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with QA tools is a plus • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
