Internship Front House Barista

Key Responsibilities Customer Service - Greet and engage with customers in a warm and professional manner. - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. - Assist customers with menu recommendations and product enquiries. - Ensure guests have an exceptional dining and café experience. Beverage Preparation - Learn and assist in preparing coffee and non-coffee beverages according to company standards. - Support baristas during service periods. - Maintain beverage quality and presentation standards. - Learn basic coffee knowledge, brewing methods and café operations. Café Operations - Assist with opening and closing duties. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, service areas and equipment. - Restock supplies, merchandise and display items as required. - Support inventory counting and stock management activities. Team Support & Culture - Work closely with front-of-house, kitchen and management teams. - Participate in training sessions and team meetings. - Uphold company values, service standards and workplace policies. Requirements - Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Culinary Arts, or related fields. - Positive attitude and willingness to learn. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Passion for coffee, food and hospitality is an advantage. - Able to commit to the internship period required by the educational institution.
