Accounts Executive Full Set
Job Summary
8nabler is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to independently manage the finance function for our growing voice AI startup. You will handle full-set accounts, including bookkeeping, payroll, and statutory contributions, while reporting directly to the C-level team. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of owning financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-set accounts and general ledger
- Process AP/AR and perform bank reconciliations
- Handle payroll, EPF, SOCSO, and PCB submissions
- Manage multi-currency invoicing and revenue recognition
Required Skills
- 2-4 years full-set accounts experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
- Expertise in Malaysian statutory requirements
- Experience with foreign currency accounting
Job Details
What this job actually looks like:
- Bookkeeping: Maintaining the general ledger in QuickBooks or equivalent, processing AP/AR, running bank reconciliations, and keeping the chart of accounts clean.
- Payroll & Statutory: Computing EPF, SOCSO/EIS, and PCB for the team and ensuring timely submissions.
- Financial Management: Liaising with external accountants for audit and annual tax, and handling complex entries including milestone-based client billing, deferred revenue, and multi-currency invoicing.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience running full-set accounts (SME or startup preferred).
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining accounting systems like QuickBooks Online, Xero, SQL Accounting, or AutoCount.
- Expertise in computing EPF, SOCSO, and PCB from scratch.
- Understanding of deferred income vs. revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with foreign currency entries (MYR, USD, and SGD).
- Diploma/degree in accounting or finance, or part-way through ACCA/CIMA.
