Job Summary
The Traffic Management Officer will develop and implement safety and traffic control policies to ensure efficient vehicular and pedestrian flow on construction sites. This role involves conducting site inspections, managing traffic control personnel, and coordinating with authorities to minimize congestion. The position requires onsite supervision and the development of emergency response plans.

Required Skills

Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Facilitate safety training sessions and drills for all site personnel.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and implement traffic management plans for the site, ensuring safe and efficient vehicular and pedestrian flow.
- Monitor traffic conditions and make adjustments to traffic plans as necessary to minimize congestion and enhance safety.
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders regarding traffic control measures during construction activities.
- Supervise traffic control personnel and ensure they are trained and equipped to manage site traffic effectively.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans specific to site conditions and traffic scenarios.
- Act as a point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with emergency services and ensuring swift action is taken.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Ijazah dalam bidang berkaitan.
- Perlu mempunyai Pensijilan Pengurusan Trafik (Wajib).
- Minimum 3 tahun pengalaman berkaitan dalam pengurusan trafik, terutamanya bagi projek pembinaan jalan raya.
- Mempunyai pengetahuan dalam kawalan trafik dan peraturan keselamatan.
- Sihat tubuh badan untuk penyeliaan tapak.
- Bersedia untuk berpindah ke Ranau, Sabah.
