Job Details
What You’re Responsible For
- Turn operational problems into user flows, wireframes, visual designs and working prototypes for the features assigned to you, from discovery through to engineering hand-off.
- Build clickable, code-based prototypes with AI within the shared design system and publish them through the team’s Git workflow: branches, pull requests and review.
- Run usability sessions with subsidiary operators and iterate on flows based on observations.
- Document product decisions, component variants and prototype behaviour in the team’s knowledge base.
- Work with engineers during the build. Clarify intent, check the implementation against the prototype and resolve UX edge cases.
Requirements
- A fresh graduate, or up to 2 years of working experience, including as a UI/UX or product designer, product owner or product manager.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field. Computer science, design and business backgrounds are especially relevant.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking, you identify the right problem and its root cause before you solve it.
- Learn fast and adapts. You pick up new tools, including AI and Git, when the work needs them.
- Experience turning a problem into something people could use, through work, internships, a final year project or side projects.
- A good eye for layout, hierarchy and consistency in interface design.
- The judgement to simplify messy real-world workflows rather than mirror them in software.
- Clear written and spoken English. You’ll explain decisions to operators and engineers.
- Ownership of outcomes. You care whether the feature works for the person using it, not just whether it got delivered.
- English is our working language. Mandarin is a bonus.
