Finance Intern
Job Summary
Net Infra Sdn Bhd is looking for an Accounting / Finance Intern to assist in financial documentation, management accounts preparation, and processing payment vouchers. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a relevant degree and possesses basic accounting knowledge along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate finance tasks under the guidance of the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Organising and maintaining financial records and documents
- Assisting in preparation of full set management accounts and reports
- Creating and processing payment vouchers, invoices, and purchase orders
- Carrying out other finance tasks assigned by the Head of Finance
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software is an advantage
Job Details
Financial Documentation and Filing – Organising and maintaining financial records and documents Preparation of Full Set Management Accounts – Assisting in the preparation of complete management accounts and financial reports. Preparation of Payment Vouchers, Invoices and Purchase Orders – Creating and processing payment vouchers, invoices and purchase orders using SQL Accounting Software. Other Finance task - Carrying out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Finance/Executive as required.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
Willing to learn and able to follow instructions from the Head of Finance.
Detail oriented, organised, and responsible in handling financial records.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software is an added advantage.
