Interior Design Intern
Job Summary
Greenwoods Creations is seeking Interior Design interns to gain hands-on experience across the full design-to-build process. Interns will be exposed to concept development, technical drawings, material selection, site coordination, carpentry production and installation. This role helps students learn how designs are turned into completed spaces while building practical portfolio experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in space planning and design development
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and 3D presentations
- Select materials and colors and handle carpentry detailing
- Conduct site measurements, visits, and coordinate installations
Required Skills
- Currently studying Interior Design or related field
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Job Details
What you will experience during your internship (may be exposed to): Space planning and design development, AutoCAD drawings, 3D presentation, Material and colour selection, Carpentry detailing, Site measurement, Site visits, Client discussion exposure, Factory / carpentry production process, Installation coordination, Project progress tracking, Real-life problem solving.

Basic knowledge (advantage): AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel, Adobe / presentation software.
Note: This is an internship role; attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn are emphasized over complete technical proficiency. Suitable for students from: Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Spatial Design, Built Environment, related design programmes.
