Communications Intern

As a Strategic Communications Intern, you'll support the development and execution of campaigns that create impact. You'll gain hands-on experience in media relations, content strategy, stakeholder communications, and campaign delivery while working alongside programme and strategy teams. Key Responsibilities - Develop communication materials for campaigns and programmes. - Assist in planning and coordinating campaign activities. - Draft media advisories, press releases, and interview briefs. - Monitor media coverage and prepare media monitoring reports. - Support outreach to strategic partners. - Support event communications before, during, and after programmes. - Support roles during on ground programmes and events. - Ensure communication deliverables are completed according to timeline. - Conduct research on issues, audience trends and best practices. - Analyse campaign performance using social and digital analytics. - Prepare insight summaries. Job Requirements - Preferably students or currently pursuing a diploma or degree in public relations, communication, digital media communication, digital marketing, or related fields - Excellent written and verbal in both Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency is a must. - Outgoing personality with eagerness to learn and take on tasks, a proactive mindset. - Availability for a minimum commitment of 3 months or more. - Willingness to take on challenges and contribute your skills and knowledge to a specific team - Creative, driven and interested in being part of curating and managing strategic communications initiaves and campaigns for Ratio Cause and its clients.
