Job Summary
As a Cook at dhungryhelpezenterprise, you will be the backbone of food prep by preparing dishes, managing prep stations, and maintaining kitchen flow during service. Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
- Run your assigned station during service, keeping pace with orders and timing.
- Coordinate with front-of-house to ensure smooth handover and steady service.
Food Preparation & Quality
- Prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and maintain consistent portion sizes.
- Ensure every plate meets quality and presentation standards before it leaves the kitchen.
Safety, Cleanup & Inventory
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices and keep workstations clean.
- Help monitor stock levels, rotate supplies, and assist with simple inventory counts.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen or similar setting.
- Formal culinary qualification is a plus but not required.
Hard Skills & Knowledge
- Solid knife skills and competence with common cooking methods, stoves, and grills.
- Understanding of food safety, portion control, and basic recipe following.
Soft Skills & Qualities
- Calm under pressure, punctual, and able to manage time during busy shifts.
