Job Summary

This role provides hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle to support your Part 3 licensure. You will work on authority submissions, on-site coordination, and design development to build experience required for full architectural registration. You will be heavily involved in architectural design, guiding projects from initial concept through to construction documentation.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (Part 2 or equivalent)
  • 1 to 2 years of architectural design and project coordination experience
  • Knowledge of Malaysian authority submission procedures and building regulations

Job Details

Responsibilities: - Be heavily involved in architectural design, guiding projects from initial concept and schematic design through to design development and construction documentation. - Take ownership of preparing and developing design drawings, submission drawings, and detailed construction drawings. - Assist the team in conducting feasibility studies, crafting design proposals, and creating compelling presentation materials. - Prepare essential tender drawings, alongside schedules and material specifications. - Actively liaise and coordinate with clients, external consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project progress. - Gain critical regulatory experience by participating in the authority submission process and ensuring full compliance with local building by-laws and regulations. - Provide support in project coordination and site matters, which includes actively attending meetings and site visits when required. - Act as the guardian of the project's vision, ensuring the original design intent and quality are maintained throughout all project stages. Requirements Qualifications: - Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (Part 2 or equivalent). - Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience focusing on architectural design and project coordination. - Foundational knowledge of Malaysian authority submission procedures and building regulations. - Prior exposure to concept design proposals, design development, detailing, and construction drawings, and experience liaising with local authorities.
