Job Summary
Brand Rovers Marketing is offering an events internship for individuals passionate about live events and brand activations. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting real client campaigns from preparation and coordination to on-site execution. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, logistics, promoter coordination, and on-site event supervision.

Job Details
Love live events, brand activations and being on-ground? Join Brand Rovers Marketing and gain hands-on exposure supporting real client campaigns, from preparation and coordination to on-site execution. You will assist the team across different types of projects, including product sampling, roadshows, exhibitions, community events, corporate events and roving activations. This is a practical, all-round internship. Some days you may be helping to prepare schedules, source items, make calls, recruit promoters or update documents. On event days, you may be assigned as an on-ground supervisor to coordinate promoters, monitor the activity and support the team in ensuring the event runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with event planning, preparation, schedules and checklists
- Helping to source event materials, suppliers, venues, manpower or other project requirements
- Making follow-up calls and assisting with supplier, promoter and venue coordination
- Assisting with promoter recruitment, including posting vacancies, contacting candidates, confirming attendance and arranging replacements when needed
- Preparing simple promoter briefings and communicating event details, reporting time, dress code and work scope
- Preparing simple slides, documents, reports, event briefings and administrative materials
- Supporting stock preparation, packing, logistics, delivery and collection arrangements
- Attending site visits, meetings and selected event setups
- Assisting with event setup, on-site execution and dismantling
- Attending selected events as an on-ground supervisor to ensure the events run smoothly as per scheduled
- Supporting promoters when they face simple on-site issues, while escalating important matters to the event PIC
- Monitoring stock, materials, sampling quantity, customer feedback and promoter performance during the event
- Assisting with customer engagement, registration, games, redemption or activity support when required
- Collecting event photos, sales or sampling updates, and assisting with simple post-event reporting
- Supporting other project-related tasks based on client and event requirements
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Business or related fields
- Interested in events, brand activations and on-ground marketing
- Responsible, organised and willing to help with different types of tasks
- Able to follow instructions, keep track of details and complete tasks within timeline
- Comfortable making calls, following up and communicating with promoters, suppliers, venues and team members
- Able to be firm, responsive and responsible when supporting promoter coordination on-site
- Comfortable with on-site work, setup, moving around and hands-on event support
- Comfortable attending selected events as an on-ground supervisor
- Open to occasional weekends, public holidays, evenings or longer working hours depending on event requirements
- Own transport is preferred as event locations may vary. Mileage can be claimed for approved work travel
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an advantage
- Must have full working rights in Malaysia
