Senior Finance Executive

📍 Key Responsibilities - Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning. - Monitor cash flow, ensuring timely payments, collections, and bank reconciliations. - Work closely with the retail operations team to reconcile inventory, monitor stock movements, and investigate variances. - Analyze operating expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgets. - Ensure compliance with SST/GST and other statutory and tax requirements. - Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits. - Maintain and optimize the ERP accounting system while improving reporting efficiency and accuracy. - Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting operations and internal controls. ✅ Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. - At least 3–5 years of experience in full set accounting, preferably in the retail industry. - Proficient in SQL accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. - Good understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, and retail transactions. - Knowledge of SST/GST and Malaysian statutory compliance. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take on new responsibilities.
