Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for finalizing full sets of accounts independently while ensuring compliance with MFRS. This role involves direct client engagement and providing professional accounting solutions. You will also manage month-end processes and assist management with financial insights.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Finalise full sets of accounts independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle client engagements directly, providing professional accounting support and solutions.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with MFRS and applicable standards.
- Manage month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting timelines.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies when required.
- Identify process improvements and maintain strong internal controls.
- Support management with clear financial insights for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Preferably an ex-auditor with solid exposure to statutory audits and accounting practices.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with proven ability to finalise accounts independently.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS and practical application of accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills to deal with clients confidently.
- High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
