Gelato Retail Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to serve gelato and desserts while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service. You will be responsible for handling transactions, managing inventory, and providing product recommendations to customers. The role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve gelato and desserts to customers
- Handle POS transactions and cash collection
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory and replenish stock
- Perform opening and closing duties

Job Details
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve gelato and desserts to customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Prepare and serve the waffle and gelato
- Handle POS transactions and cash collection
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels
- Perform opening and closing duties according to SOP
- Assist with sampling and promotional activities
- Provide product recommendations and explain our unique plant-based offerings to customers
- Ensure customers have a positive experience with our brand
Requirements:
- Malaysian or valid work permit holder
- Able to communicate in English (Mandarin is an advantage)
- Friendly, responsible and punctual
- Willing to work retail shifts, weekends and public holidays
- No experience required; training will be provided
- Experience in F&B, café, ice cream, bakery or retail is an added advantage
